My new outlook

June 7, 1809
I am going to die within the next few days, and I figured I'd tell you about the last fifteen years. In 1797, i gave advice to Napoleon on how to invade England. Then in 1802, or maybe it was 1803, Jefferson invited me back to America. Jefferson was one of the few honest men, and I was starting to disagree with Napoleon and could never go back to England, so I went back to America. I wrote another pamphlet on freemasonry, which is still not in English. I had a conflicted life where I took many sides, but I am mostly proud of it. So for the last time, Farewell.

Revolution Called

November 1794
Seven years ago I thought I would make my last entry and live a simple life. Four years ago, Revolution called again, this time in France. I've spent the last 11 months imprisoned, narrowly escaping. What a fool I was for coming here. And America is a traitor to Revolutionary France. My old friend Washington is an impostor, he abandoned me. I plan on living in France for the rest of my life serving under Napoleon.

Home

1787
Ever since we got our independence, I've been living a normal life in New Jersey. However, I am moving back to London and plant to live my life in private. I've gotten such undeserving titles such as "The Father of the Revolution" or "a missionary of world revolution." I just opened some peoples eyes that is all. And now I will enjoy the rest of my life at this old age.

France

August 1781
I just got back from France with John Laurens. A great soldier who helped many people. We got funding for the revolution from the French government. The funding was 2.5 million silver livres. This should be more than enough to fund the revolution. I have support and recognition from Congress and the state governments of New York and Pennsylvania.

New Position

1779
A few years ago I was appointed the position of secretary of the Congressional Committee on Foreign Affairs. Last year, in one of my pamphlets I revealed my secret negotiations with France. Because of this and a conflict with Robert Morris, I was kicked off of the committee. These negotiations will not end, because France could be our greatest ally.

Crisis

1776
I am writing a new pamphlet series called Crisis. I hope this one is as well received as Common Sense. It will also be as hated by Loyalists as Common Sense. I've been called names such as a "political quack." The point of this pamphlet is to inspire others in the battles against the British. In every person there is a good devoted American and a selfish man. I want to bring out the good American person.

Success

February 1776
Common Sense was a success. We sold over 100,00 pamphlets in the first month. Many literate have read it, and some have read it to the illiterate. It feels great to have helped spread the great idea of republicanism and it is something I will always be proud of. I can not, however, take all the credit. These ideas were not my own, but were rather ideas of many people I agreed with compiled into one with my easy to understand style of writing.
