I am writing a new pamphlet series called Crisis. I hope this one is as well received as Common Sense. It will also be as hated by Loyalists as Common Sense. I've been called names such as a "political quack." The point of this pamphlet is to inspire others in the battles against the British. In every person there is a good devoted American and a selfish man. I want to bring out the good American person.
